I went down that path at one time and did come up with a Ford or Mazda solution, but I forget the details. Maybe try a Google Lens search or some such thing.Does anyone know if the PMAG coil an off the shelf item or specifically made for/by EMAG Air? My understanding has been that it is a Ford EDIS coil but I can not find a part number or even a picture of it that is from Ford.
Thanks in advance

Thank you. It looks like the spark wiring configuration as well as the plug that connects it to the body of PMAG is different thought.
EMag just runs potted wires and skips the connector. Cant comment on the wiring config, but I don't think the Emag coil is a custom setup. Would need to ask EMag that, tho.Thank you. Thanks again for the info, I will be calling them tomorrow. Yes, I was helping to troubleshoot a failure and it turned out to be the coil that one plug was not firing.EMag just runs potted wires and skips the connector. Did you have coil fail? Hope you can get a replacement and get it fixed quickly.
where did you find those part numbers?Found some good info about the coil with some good news and some not so good.
Bad news is that since Hartzell has bought the EMAG, they are not going to sell the coil separately.
Good news is that we can find them commercially and put them together ourselves. The coil which fits many Ford and Mazda with the part number 26C1081 and relatively cheap. We also need to buy the plug since it is not potted, like PMAG coil, with the part number of 3U2Z-14S411-TNA. The plug has three wires and the Left wire goes to C1, middle wire goes to P and Right wire goes to C2.
Hope this helps anyone that needs a coil.
