Hi Gang, are there any tips or techniques to get the AN3 bolt through rod end bearings? My fingers can't through the openings at the hinge openings to manipulate the bolt through the bearing.

PS, I tried install the elevator into stab sitting vertical in cradles. Coudn't figure how out to attach while laying flat.

I used a small set of needle nose pliers to insert the bolt. I used a washer wrench to install the washers. I taped a nut to a small wrench to install the nuts.

+1 on the hemostats. I have a variety of sizes. They’ve baled me out numerous times.

Thanks Trent. I progressed up to 11-03, Step 3. Measurement shows that I need back-out the rod end bearings by 2/32". I'm aiming for 3/32".

More work. Sigh...
