During my build I upgraded the Fuel Pump to the 15 psi facet pump and the Kavlico sensor also. I ran the engine yesterday and my fuel pressure was showing high at 18 psi. Any ideas as to what’s going on or what I need to do to get it lowered?

15 psi is too high for a carbureted engine. It should be around 5 psi.

The fuel pump is doing what it is rated to do. Replace it with one rated to the correct pressure.

Have you turned off the electric pump and just run on the mechanical one?

Which model Facet/Purolator 15 psi Cube model did you install?

Are you familiar with Van's SB #18-07-12 regarding an electric fuel pump upgrade (see: https://www.vansaircraft.com/service-information-and-revisions/n-2018-07-12/)? Which model Facet pump did you install?

Turns out Vans sent me the 150psi sender. I’ve ordered a 0-15 replacement from ACS. Hopefully it will be the right one. However, I just saw where the same thing happened to someone a couple years ago when they ordered one from ACS. Just need to double check and triple check the numbers.
