Dimpling the firewall

Hey Everyone. I'm at Section 27 (Firewall) and after a delay obtaining a new piece from Vans I'm moving forward once more. I just finished dimpling the firewall based on the Rivet guide on Page 27-5. My question is in regards to the unmarked holes that are labeled earlier as being for "UPPER FWD FUSE RIB ATTACH HOLES" and the Oil Cooler Box Attach holes. Are these getting dimpled? Step 6 wasn't quite clear considering nothing is clecoed to those holes in the pre-assembly.

What about the 6 isolated holes. One on each top corner and the four across the bottom? Rivet page shows nothing in them and they appear to be larger than 1/8 (#4) rivets.

Leave those alone for now. Much later they will be enlarged for the engine mount.

No problem! I'm just doing the rest of the firewall work right now before mounting the engine mount (Section 46) so it's a lot easier to answer these questions with a broader understanding of what happens in the future.

I just updated the wiki with your question as well. If you aren't already doing so, I suggest checking the wiki before you start each section. I have recently finished the fuselage and have spent a lot of time expanding the information that was already there to help others avoid some of my mistakes and questions!
