Oil Hoses

I have a 2010 RV12 Legacy version. Are the hoses that attach to the oil cooler Lifetime rated? I heard somewhere they were but not sure, if not then at 15 years old I'd say they're more than due, they have the fire sleeve crimp band on them, and are date band says 5/20/10.

The fire sleeved Van’s hoses, VA-213 through VA-216 are Teflon. Confirmed by Vans, these were never provided as rubber.

The legacy 12 MM recommends replacement at 10 years. These exact same hoses were used in the ULS version of the RV12is, where the 12iS MM calls out replacement on condition. Vans was unresponsive to multiple requests for clarification, I’m comfortable following the 12iS guidance of “on condition” for these part numbers on my legacy 12.
