So…our QB wings for the F1 came in a really nice roll-around rack, and the outboard rib had a beautifully-made wood and pipe bracket to rest in the rack. It is attached via two round rubber/metal fittings that nest perfectly in the rib lightening holes. I don’t think they were custom made, but they fit like they were - gotta believe that they are some sort of semi-standard hardware store/construction/plumbing fitting of some sort. Now that we’re working on the wings, I probably will never use them again, but I am curious what they are - we’ve got folks here from dang near every profession and trade - someone should know….

Another guess is an expansion plug for a car engine block. They come in a variety of sizes bigger and small than two inches.
 
just a simple typing error. ACE / ACS. After all, you can find them in the ACE aircraft hardware section.
