360 Avionics EFIS and A

I have MiniUni2 since 2021.Last year I got ELM300 and put about 400 hours on it. I am a day VFR pilot/airplane and didn't test the equipment at night. The units are affordable and suit my purpose. The ELM200 was planned as a backup and it worked as a champ when I got cornered by wx somewhere at (then) Gulf of Mexico. Newer EFIS has so many features I didn't even explored yet. The brightness is good for direct sunlight the compass is great. It's a great value for minimum bucks in my opinion. 300 doesn't tumble when I do abrupt manuevers. You have to pay attention to the mounting screws they have to be the right length...

Added; the early MiniUni2 don't start when OAT is -20F and below and the instrument is cold soaked. I notified the manufacturer and I believe the newer units have lower temperature limits for operations.

I have the miniuni2 and I really like its small compact size. It's the only efis im aware of that fits in the smaller 2 1/4 holes while also providing airspeed and altimeter data. I use it as a backup for my garmin g3x on my vans rv7a. If you have any questions about it, feel free to contact me!

Has anyone installed any of the 360 Avionics? I just purchased the large EFIS and Autopilot.

I have an Engood engine monitor that works very well, but had to get ungrounded egt probes used on EI monitor. Aircraft Spruce has them. I replaced a Dynon D180 with Engood and AV-30 which fit in the same space. Much better solution to a single display that can stop working and leave you with NOTHING but what your GPS shows.

I installed double ELM300s a year ago in my RV4. I use one for the attitude indicator and one for the heading indicator. I could not be happier! They're super bright and easy to navigate through the settings and functions. And... Customer service is with out a doubt, the best I've ever dealt with. If I ever upgrade to full glass, Im definitely going with 360 Avionics. In my opinion, it's the best bang for the buck on the market.
