Pete Hunt - AKA PCHunt

I received a message from the family today of Pete's passing on April 11th. Last I recall, Pete was based out of Ramona, CA and New Zealand and often a contributor to this site. I recall he had an RV-6, RV-6A and a T6 Texan. I have fond memories of Pete looking over my build in its final stages at RMN. Pete monitored a radio from the ground during my first flight, and (to my surprise) arranged for his son to take professional grade photos of my first flight, which I have posted in my office to this day. He also gave me a ride in his T6 where we did a missing man formation over a funeral at MCAS Miramar, followed by some light aerobatics! Pete was an ambassador to the sport and will be missed.

Pete joined the forums in 2007 and had over 2,200 posts. He last posted in late March.
Pete, we will miss you. Thanks for making this place special.

Pete gave me my first flight review in my RV-9A. He said he was going to "get me uncomfortable". He did! Probably my best ever flight review.
He will be missed at KRNM.
