The spousal unit was teaching a free yoga for cancer patients class via Zoom from our living room Saturday morning, and that includes about 15 minutes of meditation, so my role is to be gone during it.

Airport!

30min droning around the local area in the 'ol RV-6. Saw a couple new water tanks going up in Argyle (more complex interior than I would have thought) and some boating action on Lake Lewisville. Really nice morning, so there were student pilots by the dozen and traffic avoidance opportunities aplenty.

Seems a few others had the same idea around 10am….

Hope you’re having a nice RV weekend.

A few of us flew to Gore Bay from Brampton, about 280 nm NW on Sat for a Trillium Aviators flyin. About 25 planes showed up. Rv6,7,7A,8,10 and 14A's flew in. Great weather, butter tarts and a good time at the new FBO. Unfortunately I didn't have the forethought to take any pics...but it did happen, so I included a pic from a lunch a few weeks ago.

Didn't anybody else except Dan and me fly their RV this past
Well, another hour on 2 ignitions firing nonstop has been great for me, my passengers don’t care as long as we get there.
More RV’s than you can guess in the second pic…… great seeing some Rv friends a couple times, as short as it was it was still worth it. Need more time.
Taking my oldest to her summer job orientation with my youngest in tow, all made better by flying the RV…..

Yes we did… and still are.

Michael W and myself are on a tour around the baltic sea in his RV-10.
Started last Saturday from our homebase Birrfeld, close to Zurich, Switzerland 🇨🇭 via Hassfurt (lunch) in Germany 🇩🇪 to spend the night at the north east coast of Germany at the Baltic Sea in Barth 🇩🇪. Monday went via Borsk Poland 🇵🇱 to Kaunas Lithuania 🇱🇹 where we spent the night. We flew from Poland through the Suwalki gap, a narrow passage between Kaliningrad, Russia 🇷🇺 and Belarus 🇧🇾. We were prepared for some GPS spoofing and backed up with VOR navigation. On Monday we flew to Riga, Latvia 🇱🇻 where we spent the afternoon and night in the beautiful capital. And today via Kuressaare, Estonia 🇪🇪 for lunch and crossing the Baltic Sea to Turku in Finland 🇫🇮. Tomorrow we plan to have lunch in Mariehamn the capital of Åland, an autonomous territory under Finnish sovereignty 🇫🇮 before flying on to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden 🇸🇪. Then we still have two days to fly home via Denmark 🇩🇰, maybe Norway 🇳🇴 and Germany 🇩🇪 to Switzerland 🇨🇭.

So far 7 countries and only 9:14 hours in the air 😎

My plan was to go up for some practice maneuvers and T&Gs sticking close to my home base on the OR coast. Then I ran into Blake (RV-4) at his airport nearby in WA. One thing led to another and the next thing you know we're having a bite at a small-town restaurant at the base of Mt. Rainier, touring the cascade mountain range and visiting a backcountry strip in the middle of the state.
