Does anyone know where I could send electronic circuit breaker box to have it looked at. The problem I have is when I turn on the system the battery connector solenoid doesn't activate. It appears that it activates by grounding the small wire post. What happens when it's not working is the main buss fuse under the dash blows because the starter is trying to get current through it instead of the battery connector solenoid. The wiring that goes to the box is good. But the box won't ground out that circuit to activate it.

I'm looking for answers, options, etc.

Thanks for your help.

Be advised the VP-200 is an orphaned system no longer supported by VP. You can ask them but don’t get your hopes up. I had the DU go out back in 2018 and with no repair or replacements available, ended up having to remove my entire VP-200 and go a different route.

They may not support repair but VP still has installation manuals and schematics for the older equipment. You should give them a call and see what they have that could help.

I emailed their product support. If I don't get an answer, I will call them.

Thanks

VP for me is a nice system but if I had a legacy box would insure, I had a working back-up box. There must be these around of users who didn't want to be grounded and replaced the unit??

There are owners who bought available spares from guys like me who divested the serviceable components from dead systems. My advice to the OP, cut your losses and move on to something else.

I'm not all that familiar with the VP-200 system but I should think that the Master Switch doesn't need to be wired to the VP-200 for the master battery contactor to work. The Battery connects directly to the Contactor input and then to the VP-200 main power i. When Terminal 2 on the contactor is switched to ground the Contactor will energise and supply power to the VP200. Your Starter contactor should be wired directly to the output of the Master Contactor.
The VP-200 manual suggests you can wire Pin 2 of the Master relay via Pin 5 on J5 but I am not sure what these Pins do on a VP-200.
You mention main bus fuse blowing, how is the main Bus being powered if the Master Relay isn't engaging?
