Need door/lock alternatives

I purchased the ACS Door/Baggage Lock set, then several extra matching keys. Unfortunately, I messed up one of my cylinders. Aircraft Spruce says they are unable to match my existing keys on another set of locks. I have been working with them for several months now.

Is there a good alternative lock/key set for the baggage door and the low-profile handles from Aerosport?

I’d spend another 50 for another new set.
Well, I really need three locks -- two doors and the baggage door. And they can't get that for me.

Additionally, for my flying RV-10, we had one of our locks fail and were able (recently) to order a matching one. I don't want to install a lock that I can never replace with a matching one.

To be clear, I have spent nearly $300 on ACS products from Aircraft Spruce. My initial order was just the basic lock set, then a custom order for extra keys, then a custom order to get more cylinders. What I have now is two lock cylinders (one broken) and 5 keys with matching numbers. Then I have two lock cylinders and one key with a different key number. Then I have another two lock cylinders and one key with a third key number.

It seems my local locksmith may be able to re-key the extra cylinders at $55/ea. If I do that I'll end up about $500 into this effort, but with two extra (spare) cylinders for future needs. It seems like there should be a better option, though.

www.mrlock.com. These guys have what you need. Just match the size you need. I had the same problem with my RV-10. You may need a longer latch for the baggage door.

I headed down to my local chain hardware store with the aerosport cover plate and bought 4 cabinet locks (2 pairs) that fit the inside of the cover plate bevel nicely.
Rifled through all the ones in the shelf and in the overflow up top until I found 2 lots with the same key number.
Cost about 20bucks and I have a spare barrel too now.
