Need cable clamping plates for rod end attach

I've been searching online for cable clamping plates that facilitate fastening a rod end to the control cable. I've seen them on certified planes, usually for auto pilot servo installation. I have a trutrak part# but they've been bought by Bendix King. Here's a photo

If you have access to even a tiny milling machine, you could make this easily with some plate stock and a ball endmill.

But there aren't any closed-circuit cables in an RV, other than the 12. So you can't really adapt a pushrod to a cable, when it can only ever be a "pull-rod"...!

I'm willing to make one but surprised there's none available online.

Not a RV.. does it matter?
Actually it does - Doug's number 1 rule:

Let's start with the two big rules...

  1. JUST RV.
I love me some STOLish Piper Cub type planes, but this isn't the place to get help mod'n your J3C-65.
There are LOTS of non-RV folks that read the site, and I think that's great - but its not a generic "ask anything about any airplane" place.
