Bottom Skin rivetting W-704

Another question. I'm mis-reading the plans or they don't agree.
I'm getting ready to rivet the bottom skins on, DWG12 indicates that every second hole on the inboard rib and W-704 is left open for F-776 attachment, DWG38

But DWG38 shows the platenuts getting fitted to every third hole.

That's not going to work in my mind. Any help with which one is correct?
Thanks

The spacing for the belly screws on the RV-6 is 2.5 inches and I expect RV-7 will be the same, so every third hole is the correct drawing.

It took me forever to figure that out but the drawing was correct. The bottom holes are spaced different and match the bottom skin.

Hi Larry, I'm still confused. Which drawing is correct?
DWG 38 shows nutplates in every 3rd hole of W-704. If I rivet as per DWG 12, i won't be able to put nutplates in some of the holes due to being riveted.

Both. The holes in the wing skin that match the holes in the fuse bottom skin are spaced differently. I don't remember why, but they lined up.

Larry is right, both drawings are correct. There may be confusion interpreting the drawings because one is the converse of the other. DWG 12 shows the rivet legend for the rivets that attach the skins to the ribs and the "dots" are to be left open. On DWG 38 the holes which are "dots" on DWG 12 are instead shown as the rivet legend. So there is not any conflict between drawings, they are just each showing the perspective that is relevant to that situation.

Agree the drawing (multi drawings) takes time figure out...

I installed the nut-plates (3/32 rivets) in the rib alone, dimpling the rib, doubler and wing skin. I will have to use a hole finder to drill the strip between fuselage and wing..... I did not want to knife edge the wing skin for the screw holes. The only down side if a nut plate ever has to be replaced I would have to drill the small 3/32 rivets and then countersink the skin and doubler per plans
