Some seats will slide out wo taking the flap covers off (like Todd). However, if yours hit, like mine did, all you need to do is put a 45° chamfer on the end of the nylon track(s). Take a close look as you pull the seat back, then tilt it up as you are trying to to remove. The end of the nylon track is the culprit. Take the nylon tracks out, chamfer and reinstall. You are not degrading any function of the seat track. Seats are much easier to remove as you pull back, then tilt up.
Another option is to install nut plates for the adjust lever. I take my seats out a lot. No, I didn’t use invisible rivets. It was a tight spot, so I lock the nut plate down 1st, prior to drilling.
