How I installed the EarthX battery

How do you know that your 3D printed part is strong enough to meet the flight loads? I’d hate to see your battery break loose in turbulence some day.
I considered that. Since this battery is only 4 pounds the forces it creates is a lot less than the 14 pounder that was there before. The part I made was able to carry my weight when bolted to a beam upside down with me (200#), suspended from a rope through the middle. I figured that would be equivalent to approximately 25g of the 4# battery. My wings are only rated at 4g so I think there is going to be a bigger problem before the battery departs the holder. Now what I am worried about is if the ASA filament will soften in the engine compartment so I am keeping a close eye on it to see if there is a problem there. I already have a nylon one that Justin (pilot here) printed that should take a few hundred more degrees in case this one fails the temp test.
