I can't find guidance in the RV-6 build manual on how to ground the negative battery cable to the firewall. Am I missing it somewhere? What did you do?

On my 9A, I believe I mounted a nutplate on the cockpit side of the firewall, then ran a long bolt thru it to attach the engine ground and the battery negative lead, then on the other side attached to that long bolt a 10 gauge wire to my instrument grounding block. Make sense?

Yes, that makes sense. What size? 1/4"?
