Fwd Cabin Floor Panel - time to install

Morning all,

Just about to begin 29-20 installing the forward cabin floor panels, having researched it seems most route conduit either side in the rear under the baggage floor out to the sides. Is there anything I’m not considering before installing the front panels for good, I wont be installing sound insulation or SDS.

So close to finishing Section 29 I feel like this section deserves a right of passage as a 10 builder

Thanks
james.

I'm following this thread because I just started Section 29, and I agree, finishing this section feels like it will be a big milestone. I just finished bending and twisting the longerons and that took about an hour each!

I don't think anything needs to go under there but I'm not an expert. I have planned for conduits down the side and then under the baggage area, nothing under the front floor. My VHF antennas will be under the rear seats. The only mod that I did that would be applicable is that I added a side panel access for the tunnel next to the fuel pump. If you want to do that, you want to do it before you put the floors in (at least for the kit that I used).

I used platenuts and countersunk torx screws #8.
It allows for inspection for corrosion and in-case you change your mind and want to put something in there later...

Hi Kirk,

Enjoy section 29 we are approaching the end now and its been a beast of a chapter tbh. Not hard just pay attention and rivet. I found myself questioning why the plans asks you to not dimple here or not CS here and it becomes obvious down the road. Any questions you have just msg me .
