Dynon 16.7 upgrade - Flap Position Not working

Recently updated my Dynon software to the latest Van's recommended load and notice my flap indicator is no longer showing flap position. Calibrated again and checked sensor mapping and input voltages - all look correct near as I can tell but still showing no movement on the EFIS. Anyone else run into that? Must be an easy fix - just not seeing it. I can see the voltages changing as the flaps move (reported by the EFIS) so it's seeing it...just won't report in on the main screen.

Checking with Dynon too but thought I'd ask here in too so I don't have to wait until Monday to find out and raise awareness of this if anyone else is upgrading and needs to know. If your EFIS is still under warranty...might want to upgrade to see if it busts your screen - my second screen booted to black after upgrade so had to send it in. They told me upgrades reveal underlying problems with the hardware. It would be unfortunate to find out after warranty expires.

Thanks!

So what was the fix?

Mine is year 2022 2-screen HDX 1100 with 300+ hours. The flap widget/indicator (needle) on the Dynon screen hesitates between 0 flap and 1/2 flap. It on;y does it in the air and not on the ground. If it were a mechanical needle, I'd say that the needle itself was binding on something. Clearly not the case here.
