Sikaflex painting

I’m gluing my canopy on with Sikaflex. The side skirts on the canopy are predrilled for screws to attach canopy. Should I fill these holes with epoxy prior to painting and gluing canopy, or will Sikaflex oozing out of holes be paintable after gluing?
