White lithium grease?

Page 21is/U-05, Step 10, Figure 5 calls for wheel bearing grease. Can I use white lithium grease instead? This isn't a high temp or fast movement location, it's just the pivot points for the flaperon mixer arm.
 
Short version…I wouldn’t use the white lithium grease there, or any where. Especially in a critical control application. My experience has been that it turns solid, becomes stiff, a I’ve had to use a penetrating oil to loosen it for removal.
Use what Vans recommended.

Yeah, I did. Just waited on that assembly until I had a chance to stop at an auto parts store, which I did this morning. So it's got the red bearing grease in there.

Recommend Mobile 1 Synthetic. Very tacky, sticks to rod ends and anything else, extremely well.
