Not only is it difficult to see evidence of fire in the photos, there is a photo of a farm tractor with what may be a shattered piece of aircraft resting on it......
A terrible tragedy for all involved, thoughts are with the families.

Wasn't the first crash that plane experienced (1 Sep 14). Also noticed there have been 6 owners of that plane in 10 years.

FAA records indicate both N419B and N464EH, as well as a third aircraft, a Piper, are owned by the same individual. And both of the above airplanes are RV-6As.

No, they appear to be different RVs, different builders, different engines, different year of manufacture.

I noticed on Google satellite view that there is a short, narrow paved runway beside a wide, long, grass runway at that airport.
