I'm New Here
I have an RV6a and would like anybody that has experience with either the Garmin 500 or TruTrak to give me their opinions on the pros and cons of their capabilities as I am trying to figure out which way to go.
I am planning to have a Garmin G5 DG/HSI for the glideslope indicator for a Garmin 175 GPS and plan to hook them up to the autopilot.
The only thing I have heard is the TruTrak uses a brass shear screw in their servos which can break, but the Garmin servos are better because they are designed so that they dont need one. As far as I can tell from the literature, both systems have the same tracking capabilities etc.
Thanks in advance for any insights,
