Default Glare shield underside color

Note: this is not an interior color choice thread/debate.

I’ve seen a lot of various pix. What color did you utilize for the underside of your glare shield?

My thought was a non-reflective black like most use on the top. My thinking was that would visually keep focus on the panel (though it will help radiate heat downward).

What did you do? What would you have done differently?

Much thx.

Default alclad

Mine's alclad, nice and shiny, and I can't see it when flying. I could have painted it pink with green polka dots and wouldn't know it. Might be different on other models.

I painted my the same flat black that is on the top of the glair shield. Now when I crawl under the panel to work on something it looks nice and finished LOL.
