A study sponsored by the Navy showed that matching a reamed hole to the bolt diameter (I have a set of stepped reamers .0005" that allows me to have a 0.00 to -.001 (interference) fit for AN bolts).
The useful life and strength are significantly increased.
Considering that a properly constructed RV should last more than 40 years, you might want to rethink your approach to reamers.
