The WW 151 on my RV6 was overhauled less than 100 hrs. ago. It had always thrown a little oil on the blades which I was told was not unusual for a few hours after an overhaul. The airplane sat up for a few months getting some work done and now the prop has stopped throwing oil but is putting out some black grease behind the hub. I've been told by a knowledgable prop guy that
this might be due to the grease claying up during the down time and might stop after a couple of hours. Has anyone had any experience with this ?
The prop functions perfectly and I really like the performance and smoothness but of course WW doesn't support it anymore. I'm starting to think it's time to shop for a Hartzell.
