Wiring around bell crank

crabandy

Well Known Member
I ran my strobe and wingtip light wires through the tooling hole in the rib underneath the pitot line and underneath the bell crank next to to spar. Do I need to secure the wires under the bellcrank and if so what is the best method. Also should I tie wrap the wires together between the ribs, I did not use conduit only the snap bushings.
Thanks!

If you look at Roee Kalinsky's build site under "pitot-static system", you'll find a pix of how he did it--which is bullet-proof in my opinion. This applies to all his work BTW-a real craftsman. I believe it's Kalinskyconsulting dot com or you can do a search on VAF.
I hope I've spelled his name correctly :)

I used several tie-wraps thru that bay, tied to those those nifty tie-wrap pads that I RTVed onto the back of the spar. Ended up very tight and solid.
