Wing questions

I'm working on attaching the flap brackets to my wings.

The brackets call for two pieces of angle AL W925B-L, and W925C-L to go alongside the bracket for (I assume) additional support.

I fabricated both of those pieces according to the plans. However, when I put the bracket and the angles together on the wing there is a significant gap at the mitered corners. Is that something I need to worry about, can I fix it, or should I get some more of the AL stock and try again?

I looked back in my log and see there is a gap between the two. DWG 14, RIGHT SIDE VIEW shows a gap at the mitred ends.

Here is a picture of those two angles riveted into place on mine:
