Wing Stands

If you search the VAF Forums for wing stands or wing racks, you will find many different threads with links to various plans.

Many have used a variation of an EAA version. I built this version and am very happy with it for the RV-12. Here is a link to the plans:

Use the EAA dolly

One of the threads has plans for the EAA Dolly. The carpet straps are a LOT easier to make than cutting airfoil shapes out of heavy plywood and work great. My wings have been in and out of the dolly and moved around the hangar while in the dolly several times. Works great. I do use 1/8 nylon cord to tie the tops of the wings together to insure they don't flop after they're in place.
