Windscreen to top skin

How far down should the windscreen go over the top skin at the roll bar on a slider? Fig 43 showed the windscreen even with the top skin at the roll bar.

William, the biggest mistake I've seen with the length/overlap is making it too long. The shorter it is the easier to blend the plexi to the aluminum when you layup the fiberglass. I've had to repair several '7s that had too much overhang and ended up with a bulge in the fiberglass. Lay a strip of aluminum along the plexi down to the aluminum skin and you will see that if the plexi is too long you will have a poor transition. The shorter, the better in this case, within reason of course.

Rex thanks for the insight. I haven't consider the transsion to the ski. I'll going to cut down to 1/4 overlap.
