Windscreen/Sharpie

I grabbed the wrong marker. Instead of the visa vie marker I grabbed a permanent sharpie. I trying getting an initial idea what needed to be cut off. How can I safely clean this without ruining the windscreen? Thanks

Alcohol will take the sharpie off, as well as acetone. Not sure what they will do to the plexi though.

acetone is bad for Plexiglas. avoid it at all costs.

Kerosene is safe for acrylics, maybe that can erase the Sharpie?

Kerosene might do it. I'd probably start with some GooGone, try the kerosene if that didn't work, and as a last resort, sandpaper followed by Novus.

Yes. Always start with the least aggressive.
Household rubbing alcohol will take it off.
I left the protective stuff on then outside and marked on it.

Isopropyl alcohol, rubbing alcohol, is compatible with the canopy. It's recommended by 3M as part of the prep to bond with their 2216 B/A epoxy.
