windscreen aerodynamic sealant

Hi. On my 7 yr old 9A, (i didn't build) I've notice areas of sealant missing on canopy and windscreen. Where I work, we use PR-1422 tank sealant on the windshield (airliner windscreens) Is it ok to use this sealant on my RV's plastic? Thank you for any advice. DM
