Width of firewall

Hello,

my name is Thomas, I'm from Germany, living in Austria. I'm currently in the decision phase of RV-building.

Got my Preview Plans already.

Now, can someone give me some numbers how wide (and how high) the firewall is? I'm kind of shooting around for some ideas of engines.

Hi Thomas,
Big Welcome to VAF!
The best results on my measurements so far on mounted engine - firewall height 28.5 " and width 40". I have a nosewheel and my mount is different from that you sketched. I do not have those side mount bars. 40" from skin to skin.
