Hey!

I am about to receive my RV-10 Kit and wanted to add some items so that they can be packed and shipped together.
These items are
FUEL TANK TEST KIT
2x AA6-125X3/4X3/4X10’10 (Spare longerons. just to be safe, Im in Europe and shipping would be tremendous)
1x AA6-063X3/4X3/4X6’ (spare angle)
2x VENT SV-1 (NACA Vents for the rear)
1X Access Panel Kit (Avionics Forward Access Panels)

Now I have two questions:

1: Does the current kit come with electric aileron trim? Vans sells a kit in their store for 640$. Is this already included in the wing kit?

I would only buy the kit without the servo and indicator as they charge 600$ for it. I don't need the indicator and the servo alone is 250$ at different shops.

2: Is the Access Panel worth it? It's 75$, which I consider a lot for just a few aluminum pieces. From older posts I see it startet at 18$
Is there anything else you would recommend to get if one lives on the other side of the pond? I can source skins material (uncut) locally, just wonder about the Vans custom items or options.
What about Autopilot or ADHRS Brackets (what is the difference between OP-48 and OP-60)?

If this is for a -10, get the VA-186 oil cooler mount and the 4” SCAT flange that mounts on the baffle. Baffle kit, too.

The access panel is nice to have and for the work involved to duplicate it, well, I’d just spend the $75.

Roll, pitch , and yaw mounts. Even if you think you won’t get the yaw damper, it’s easier to install while building…no you don’t need the YD but it does make a big difference in the -10.

Wing kit includes the aileron trim - i was about to do the same thing you were and just order the necessities and was happy to see it in my recent delivery so not needed. It also included the fuel tank senders which I wasn't expected either.

The RV10 kits don't come with the electric fuel pump and Van's sells a kit for that (not sure if the pricing is competitive).

I bought a kit from Van's to add landing lights to my wing leading edges.
