In my panel I have rocker switches to control my lights. They have a white cover with letter/name of circuit it controls with the light bulb under neath. These may be in certified aircraft panels. I have them in my 9a. I need two lamps. On the side of the switch is embedded printed," AML. Micro switch 30 series, 28 volts, Freeport,I'll. I would like to buy these lamps in LED but cannot find who's sell these switches nor what a part number might be for the lamp.Appreciate any help. I tried digitkey.com. They list over 1200 switches. The lamps that are in there now have a glass narrow base with those tiny little wires that bend up each side for the contact in the socket.

Thanks

Ron,

Honeywell data sheet here -

http://sensing.honeywell.com/index.php?ci_id=142064

The lamps are T-1-3/4 wedge base lamp

Honeywell has the "official" LED versions here at about $20 each -

http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?mpart=AML92EWL&vendor=480

Try a web search for T-1-3/4 wedge base LED I'm sure they are available

Some here -

http://www.slottechforum.com/slotin...Retail/T 1-3-4 and T 3-1-4 Wedge Base LED.htm

The issue with the cheaper ones may be brightness since they run at less mAmps, but if you only want illumination for nighttime...:)

Thanks Gil, I can't tell you how many websites I have looked on for just inkling of a similar lamp for rocker switches. You got to have a beautiful panel if you have these switches.
Much appreciated Gil!

I'm using the same rocker as above - AML34 with the AML54 rocker cover

I purchase some of both the LED and the incandescent bulbs for the Honeywell status indicators. I know the LEDs are longer life, but the regular bulbs put out more evenly distributed light so I went with them. They are also a lot cheaper.
