Folks,

I would like some help because I wrote to VANS and got no response so far.

I would like know where to buy the following parts for a RV7-A:

- complete set of tube, tire and wheel for RV7A nose gear ( preferably if I could buy from some dealer outside VANs, I'don't know the price , part numbers but is the complete set).

- complete set of tube, tire and wheel for RV7A main gear (please provide price and part numbers).

- wheel fairing (pants) for the nose gear (please provide price and part numbers).

Either Grove or Beringer can provide what you want. I went with Grove simply because of price. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

Edit: Not sure on wheel pants but I am pretty sure there is an after market company. Some roll their own, which you can also do if you are good at fiberglass.

He has the part numbers for the OEM parts but experienced advise would help him. I'm not flying so my information was strictly part numbers.

Buy a CD with a planset and then you can see how your plane is build. You cann look for all the partnumbers. Then you can search tem in the vans store: http://vansaircraft.com/cgi-bin/store.cgi and order them.

If it is not listed in the store, use the red box with the search function to find each single part of your plane, so that you can order tem too.

There are many options to buy somewhere else, but Vans has cleveland on the mains and Matco on the front.
