When to Hang/Adjust Elevators

Just finished my elevators, and read somewhere here where the poster wished he had waited for the HS to be mounted on the fuselage before hanging the elevators and drilling the horns. Same for the rudder/VS.

Question is, does it matter? If so, I'll wait.

Ohhhh yahhhh...

Don't even think about doing anything more than building components at your stage of the game!

You can hang them just to keep all the stuff together and make it look cool during storage, but don't do any drilling of the horns now. It's just the wrong time.
