Wheel Pants

Is there any considerations or problems flying an RV-8 without wheel pants?
I fly off a grass strip and prefer no wheel pants for several reasons.

None I can think of, other than sacrificing a little speed and crud being slung onto the bottom of the wing from the wheels.

Thanks. I get a lot of grass in my wheel pants when I takeoff or land on my grass strip. Especially after mowing.
