wheel/leg fairing trailing edge

Any ideas on how to hold the two halves of the trailing edge of the transition fairing together? I'm referring to the fairing that transitions from the wheel pant to the gear leg fairing. I've seen that people will split them and glass them directly to the wheel pant. But I asking about when conventionally mounted.

This is a picture of the fairing from the rear facing forward.

We used 2 screws and a Nyloc nut.............. the drag will only take about 0.000001 of a knot off your speed :D

.

Two Tinnerman washers and #6 screws.

Same deal with the upper fairing, but there I used only I washer & screw per fairing.
