For some reason the throttle cable on my 12 was about two inches short and Vans has been very good about working to get me a new one. Bob Kibby, a 12 builder near by noticed my frustration (its the last page!) and gave me his to swap out since he isn't that far yet.

I know this goes on all the time in RVland but I don't see much credit given to the generosity it displays. In the "real world" there isn't enough. Its nice to be part of a group that sets such a nice example.

I learned this early on - the VAF "family" is extremely generous, and if you live in any sort of proximity to other builders/owners, you can almost always borrow a part that you need in a hurry from someone that has it on their shelf, then replace it by having Van's drop-ship them a new one.

It's really great to have this kind of mutual support!
