WD-411 vs WD-411PC front stick

Hi all,

I want to order a front stick for my RV-8. The set of plans I have says to order a WD-411.

"The List" shows a WD-411-PC "Front Control Stick"

Are they the same thing? What does the PC mean?

Powder Coat.
If you want another color, order weldments bare. That way uou save a few grams of added color to change them. I had the lower part of mine done Vans white for crack recognition and the part that shows black.

PC is ok with me as I like light color things in dark compartments.

But as a general question:

Can Powder Coated objects be spray painted directly? Or do they need some sort of prep?

It's pretty slick and hard so a chemical bond is unlikely. A mechanical bond would be advised. Scuff well with 400 grit, wipe with a solvent and spray.
