Washer on firewall bolt.

I'm mounting the starter relay and grounding bus on the back side of the firewall on my -8. I want to put the mounting bolt heads on the front side of the firewall. Should I put a washer under the head of the bolts, and if so should they be stainless steel washers?

Yes to the washer & stainless washer probably better. If the bolt head corrodes it'll probably do it with the washer instead of an AN960 trying to do the galvanic thing with the firewall. I suppose.
