was original -8 kit match drilled?

Does anyone know if the -8 tail kit was match drilled from the beginning when Van started selling the kits?
Reason I'm asking, I'm looking at buying a tail kit that was bought from Van's 10 years ago.

Mine was purchased 8 years ago and was not match drilled. The skins were drilled, but not the ribs...no big deal to assemble. Just draw a line down the middle of the rib flange and make sure that your skin holes are aligning with the line that you drew and drill on.

Same here. I bought my tail kit 8 years ago with the skins drilled but not the ribs. Again, it's not that big a deal. You simply have to jig it up properly. The Orndorff tapes were made when these first kits were out, so they deal with this process. Not bad and fun to boot!
