Waco Quick Visit

Enroute to Houston next weekend, Sept. 18 or 19, we will stop in Waco to have breakfast with Baylor Grandson Robert. Where is the best place to land with a good airport cafe or good nearby cafe? Easy in and out would be great since I love to beat the afternoon thunderstorms.

Texas Aero FBO at Waco's KACT. They have two courtesy cars and a good breakfast is 4.5 miles away at 'Griff's'. Directions HERE.

'Griff', as in Randy Griffen, graduated Midway High School with my sister back in the 70's. (useless trivia).


Plan 'B' is Zeb's Hamburgers about two hundred feet this side of Griff's if you arrive closer to lunch (the fried pickles are awesome).
