W-1210B-L Does this look right?

I noticed where the W-1210B-L doubler and W-1210-L Main rib attach to the spar attach angle, it looks a bit odd to me.

It seems to match the insert picture of Figure 2 on page 15-04.

Looks correct. You end up with a gap between the doubler and the attach angle.
I could only find the next picture. When you zoom in it's not sharp but it looks the same;

15-04 Step 6

I can not remember that far back but here are my notes:
Page 15-04 Step 6: Note that the W-1210-L is attached to the outboard side of the attach angle even though the RIB DOUBLER will be bent in the process. I called Van's and was told to do it like the plans even though it does not seem right to me.
