W 1206Y - What Is It???

Received my RV-12 Documentation Packet and Placards yesterday. Included with the placards is a machined aluminun plug with part number W 1206Y on the sticker.

Does anyone know what this is? Obviously, I can't figure it out myself.

You must be talking about the spar gauge.

Spar Gauge. Hmm... It does appear to be the same diameter as the Spar Pins. I'm lost here, though. What does it do?

Found it! Page 3-13 of the Maintenance Manual. Main Spar Bushing Gauge Pin. Checks for wear in the bronze wing retention pin bushings. Slick!
