VS skin trimming

It looks like I will need to trim a substantial part of the top of the VS skin before attempting to fit it to the skeleton in the jig. Is that right or am I missing something?

Ken, the skeleton is the reference (backwards of the newer prepunched kits) so if you've got too much skin hanging off then yes, you'll need to trim. It's been too long for me to remember that one specifically. Most of the skins will need to be trimmed on one or more edges.

Thanks Randy. That makes sense. I just needed a little confirmation. There are drawings that show necessary trimming for the elevator and rudder skins, but not the VS skin. I don't know about the HS because I skipped ahead while waiting for parts.
