VS Purchase Help

I need to get my VS order in and was hoping to get some help to make sure I get the right stuff the first time, etc. Here is what I believe I need after getting feedback and consulting my preview plan and "the list":

VS-308 tip
VS-304 top rib
VS-306 Bottom rib
VS-302 FWD spar
VS-303 Rear spar
VS-301 Skin
VS-305 FWD bottom rib
VS-125 VV CUT .825 (2'6" X 4") to fabricate the VS-307
VS-303
(2) VS-309 Bottom Hinge Bracket

One immediate question I have is how the VS-309 "hinge bracket" comes...is it just a six inch piece of angle alum. that one cuts out, or is it two angle pieces like in my 9A kit that come powered coated, etc.

You get to fabricate the four hinge brackets out of angle. The VS-307 is not shown correctly on the plans by the way. You should read the RV-3 clarifications post before you proceed with fabrication. It will save you some time.

For what it's worth, so far in the empennage, I thought that the vertical stabilizer was the most fun to build.
