Vertical Stab spar straightness

When I put my vertical stab on with all the bolts, I noticed the bottom was tucked in about 3/32 or just a little over that. When we drilled it we checked that it was straight but I guess it wasn't seated fully against the aft bulkhead.

Should I make up the difference by adjusting the rod end bearings on the rudder or make a shim?

Just adjust the rod end bearings. It'll be fine. No one will know if you don't point it out.
