Vans Vtachgen pulse per rev ?

Yes, I know you can guess until it looks reasonable a idle. But surely someone knows whether to use .5 or 1 PPR . I know 2 (like from EI ) is not correct.
Thanks for the help .

As I recall, the magic number is 4.

8 pulses per rev, but running at half engine speed.

This was for the transducer unit Vans sells.

Thanks much Mike

This makes sense. I had the Pmag default 2 in the MGL tach and read 1600 around idle on first start.
Thanks much...Larry

i recently hooked on up in my dynon skyview. it is 8 pulses per rev at half speed so use a setting of 4.
