There have been a lot of threads about what tools to buy and today I realized I have two tools that I bought and wish I had not.
I'm not talking about tools that function properly but don't get used often but rather tools that simply were not worth the money.
1. Adel clamp pliers. While a good idea, every time I try to use them, there is some structure in the way that forces me to put them down and draw the clamps closed with safety wire.
2. Tool to drill out rivets. Once I got good at drilling them out by hand, I didn't need this thing. That and like the Adel clamp pliers, there always seem to be something in the way.
Are there other tools you would suggest new builders avoid?
